ReCalc (Receipt Calculator) for iPhone is provided by Trayan Momkov at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page describes how the iPhone app handles your information. (The Android version has its own privacy policy.)

The short version

ReCalc for iPhone collects no data. Nothing you scan ever leaves your device.

What the app does with your photos

Receipt photos you take or pick are processed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in text recognition (the Vision framework). The app works fully offline: it makes no network connections, and your photos and recognized prices are never uploaded, shared, or sent anywhere.

The last scanned receipt is kept in the app's private storage on your device so it can be shown again when you reopen the app. If you use Save or Share (or have Auto-save enabled), the annotated image is added to your own photo library — under your control, like any other photo.

What the app does not do

• No data collection, no analytics, no tracking.
• No advertising and no third-party services or SDKs.
• No accounts, no registration.

Permissions

• Camera — only to photograph receipts, at your request.
• Add to Photos — only to save the annotated receipt image when you save or share it.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
